Join us for a panelist discussion on the American presidential election and potential implications for Alberta, Canada and Canada-US relations.

Panelists:

Dr. Judy Garber, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, University of Alberta

Judy is Associate Professor and Associate Chair (Undergraduate) of Political Science at the University of Alberta. She grew up in Ohio, did her PhD in Maryland, and taught in New York before arriving in Edmonton in 1990. Judy’s areas of interest and expertise are urban politics and planning, US domestic politics, and constitutional law – she was Executive Director of the

Centre for Constitutional Studies in the Faculty of Law at the U of A. She has worked for governments and NGOs, served on the boards of local social service non-profits, spoken and written publicly over a range of topics, and participated in election-night media coverage of both Alberta municipal and US national elections.
